Description

"Swift like The Wind"

Fuudoka (Fuudo Practitioners) learned their Martial Art by observing and adopting the Nature of the Wind itself.

Fuudo is known for its constant focus on Speed over Power, which makes it difficult for opponents to attack directly and accurately. The Practitioner combines both High Speed and Unpredictable Movements in order to catch their opponents off their guard before striking their Weak Points when their defense is at their worst.

Fuudoka are trained to be swift, precise and persistent in every move that they make in combat. They train to improve their Natural Speed and they are capable of moving at High Speeds whenever they want. By being precise, they are capable of doing more damage to an opponent who has been completely taken off his guard. By being persistent, they are capable of maintaining their Enhanced Speed for long periods of time until the opponent is finally defeated.

When Wind is fast, strong and persistent enough, it can bring down Trees regardless of how deep their roots go. Similarly, Fuudoka are taught to not only be fast in both Body and Mind, but also to never give in until they their opponents have been taken down.

Since most Fuudo Techniques center around Quick Movements and Evasion, its greatest Strength and Weakness is Speed itself, making Rindo its natural Opposing Martial Art. While Fuudo applies Speed in many Offensive Techniques, Rindo applies Speed in many Defensive Techniques. While Fuudoka avoid incoming attacks by constantly moving around, Rindoka avoid incoming attacks while staying in place. Therefore, in a Battle between a Fuudoka and a Rindoka, only the Fastest and the most skilled will have the better chance of winning.

The Fighting Ability of a Fuudoka is limited to the size of the Combat Area, since they need as much space as possible to move around and dodge attacks. Even the nature of the Environment itself can affect the mobility of a Fuudoka. However, a Master Fuudoka can still fight in close spaces and in any environment. A Master can even move so fast, he can either vanish from Sight or leave Afterimages when using his Speed. Some of the Secret Techniques of Fuudo involve using the Air itself as a Weapon or a Shield.
